It’s early in the season, so it’ll be interesting to see how it fairs in an actual dungeon as the series progresses. Magical is the keyword here so Vending Machine-kun has special abilities that makes his survivability in this new world possible. The protagonist dies from crashing into a vending machine that fell off a truck, and is reincarnated as a magical vending machine in a fantasy world. Of course there’s an anime about a vending machine! What hasn’t been made into an anime is the tougher question. Speaking of isekai, we have another one this summer with Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon. We look forward to seeing these two sides possibly unite, and if Rudeus can come to terms with the changes in his life as the season continues. We also caught a glimpse of an old friend which could be the reunion he needs to get him back on his feet.
